Change?

  1. Hard work trumps talent.
  2. A strong leader accepts blame and gives the credit. A weak leader gives blame and accepts the credit.
  3. The eight laws of learning are: explanation, demonstration, imitation, repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition.[Or teach then REVIEW! REVIEW!  REVIEW!]

“Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.”  – Charles Chaput

Heard the saying: “Hard times create strong men,  strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.”

The question being asked these days is, “Are we at the end of the cycle where all of the people in power are weak and are creating hard times?”

Said: Grandfather rode a camel – father rode a camel – child drives a Mercedes – his son drives a Land Rover – and his grandson rides a camel.

Ten Truths for every one of God’s people on November 6.

  1. God will not be pacing Heaven’s floor – all is ruled and according to His will.
  2. The Bible will still have the answers.
  3. God will still be drawing and saving men – believers still called to “show and tell.”
  4. The believers will still be indwelt and empowered.
  5. The believers will still be charged to glorify God and serve Him.
  6. The believers will still be commissioned to be God’s ambassadors.
  7. Government – at all levels – will still exist by His permission and under His rule.
  8. Satan will still be fully controlled.
  9. Justice will be perfectly executed – no evil will escape.
  10. A glorious eternal future awaits God’s people.

God and nations:

Psalm 2:1-6, Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.”

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision.  Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.”

To grasp:

  1. Men and nations seek to rule without God and even in the face of God.
  2. God knows, is amazed at their stupidity (laughs) and will break them!
  3. Jesus is coming to rule the world from Jerusalem.

God to all men and His call to His followers:

Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling,
 Psalm 2:10-11.

God calls men to humbly and diligently serve Him and to worship Him in reverence.

How are we, His people, doing in the face of the ugly political campaigns raging all around us?

Psalm 47:1-3, Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!  Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.

He will subdue the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.
