Pastor Alan Jackson this morning made comments about the troubles in Israel and the recent evil perpetrated on children, women and non-combatants by the spirit of Antichrist.

An IDF general: Civilization is on the line
Civility is on the line. Humanity is on the line.
Morality is being tested – life or death? kindness or savagery? goodwill or fear?
There is no option but to defeat this evil that has reared its head in southern Israel.
PK:
It is now a week after a most horrific, evil, demonic attack on families, peoples and a nation by a sect given to the darkness. It has happened before and will happen again until Jesus puts an end to it at His return to Israel (Zech. 12).
When Babylon conquered Jerusalem in 586 B.C., they staged their captives just north of Jerusalem in a place called Ramah for deportation to Babylon. At that site, the people were brutalized, babies murdered and captives chained for the long march to another country.
Jeremiah 31:15, Thus says the Lord: “A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.”
Psalm 137:7-9, Remember, O Lord, against the sons of Edom the day of Jerusalem, who said, “Raze it, raze it, to its very foundation!” O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed, happy the one who repays you as you have served us! Happy the one who takes and dashes your little ones against the rock!
II Chronicles 33:11, Therefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh with hooks, (a hook was dropped into the jaw or between the bones of the lower arm with a chain in the loop of the other end so they could be tied together).
When Jesus was just a tyke – maybe between age 1 and 2 – foreigners tipped off the wicked Herod, the Rome appointed ruler of Israel, to the birth of a King. Herod sent soldiers into the village of Bethlehem and killed all the babies under three.
Matthew 2:18, “A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.”
We celebrate Christmas and rightly so: God was born in flesh to redeem us from our doom and to ultimately take rule of Israel and usher in “peace and goodwill.” We celebrate, but there were some both in Jerusalem and likely all of Bethlehem who groaned and were angry with God for allowing the death of their infants because of the birth.
What is being played out in Israel today, around the world, and in history is the clash of Worldviews. Two core Worldviews are noted by Jesus in John 10:10: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
One Worldview promotes and uses theft, lying, coveting, fear, etc. to steal hope, joy, peace and love which leads to death – the death of nations, people and well-being. When good is removed; nations, families and valuable entities are destroyed. One Worldview is marked by theft, death and destruction.
The other Worldview is about life: a good, joyful, empowering, exciting, prosperous life! The root of the second Worldview is in Jesus and His principles. His principles – others, sacrifice, giving, patience, kindness, love, forgiveness, mercy and peace.
Two Worldviews – which marks you?
