God – the all-powerful Creator who has spoken to all men in Creation, in their conscience, through governments, through prophets and apostles and through His Son – is beautiful and glorious!
1-2, The Mighty One, God the Lord, has spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.
Jesus is coming in a judgment that will be radical!
3, Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous all around Him… 6b, For God Himself is Judge.
Selah – pause and ponder on this!
God is not needy. He owns all things – everything you think you own is His!
10-12, For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness.
God wills men to give thanks, to keep their word, to cast their cares on Him, to trust Him and to give Him glory!
14-15, Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
America today is wicked marked by wicked ways such as:
16-17, But to the wicked God says:
- “Under God”, “In God we trust!” NOT SO…
“What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you?”
- You vote for those who spend the next generation’s money or vote to take from the “haves” to give to “have-nots” or to friends or for self – to buy another mansion or yacht.
18, “When you saw a thief, you consented with him” – you voted for him! - You say you are a Christian or Catholic or believer but follow Marx, Dewey or Darwin.
“And have been a partaker with adulterers.” - You post and say slanderous, demeaning and outright lies:
19, “You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit.” - You teach and preach division – you divide “we the people” into warring groups.
20, “You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.” - You think God does not exist, doesn’t care or is unable because of His perceived silence.
21, “These things you have done, and I kept silent… But I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes.”
22, “Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:”
- You think God is your equal – that you too know good and evil and you rule supreme.
“…you thought that I was altogether like you;”
God’s call is that all men praise and glorify him and live pleasing to Him for He promises to save!
“Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.”
America, take note! To each of us – take note!
