Women: Be and Do

We are Human Beings – not Human Doings!

We BE, thus we DO, and not the other way around – Do, so we Be.  However, our culture, the elites and many of the rank-and-file have now bought into Do as most important.  So, when we meet someone, what do we say?  “What do you DO?”  If not Doing enough or well or not being aggressive, you are second class.

Such thinking moves some who deem your Do as insignificant, so you shouldn’t Be.  Such thinking is found in the taking of life in the womb or as an infant, a cripple physically or mentally, elderly, or sickly. If your state of Doing is either greatly diminished or non-existent, you can no longer Be.  You should die or be killed!

This somewhat drives the issue of women.  If they Do they are of value!  For many, Do means make money, lead people, provide a significant labor in the world, or… (housework does not count).  Many women have drank the koolaid that Doing in public is the highest value and what gives worth.

But Be is actually the greater value as such means being designed, created, and blessed by God.

Being a Human Being means being in God’s image, Genesis 1:28, which means being…

1. eternal – God is eternal past and forward, woman is eternal forward
2. just – a deep sense of justice (“that’s not fair”)
3. creative – not from nothing but using God’s raw materials, create homes and food
4. children – “not willing any perish” – concern for little ones
5.  triune – Father, Son, Spirit (Matthew 28:19) Woman: body, soul, spirit (I Thessalonians 5:23)
6. fellowship – as triune – “not good to be alone” – God is bound in perfect unity, peace and love
7. holy – sin causes grief and guilt and at times righteous anger
8. communicate – complex means of communication (Psalm 19:1-12)
9. desires – “Let us make man”; desires glory (Isaiah 43:7), appreciation, thanks (Romans 1:21)
10. serve – a strong desire to help and aid others – even animals

So, being a Woman – is a Human Being – by God’s will, work and way.

So BE thankful, excited, appreciative, and promoting of Women!

Then there is the DO piece of Humanness or Womanhood:

Each Human can Do in unique, different, special ways all by God’s design and touch!

The male is to Do as Jesus: provide, protect, promote, purify and precede (Ephesians 5:21-33)

The Woman’s role is to show the Holy Spirit.  Consider Holy Spirit markers:

John 16:13-14, When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

I Corinthians 12:11, But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills… 13, For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.

So, the Spirit serves in subjection to God’s will and works among mankind and in God’s family for the glory of Jesus – He points to and promotes Jesus.

The Spirit is about children, homemaking, instruction and honoring Jesus!

Thus, when He, the Spirit, is maligned Jesus makes a solemn and threatening announcement: “He who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation” Mark 3:29.

The Spirit is about the family – the church.  He does not draw attention to Himself (I Timothy 2:9-13).

Women have a solemn and special role to show and serve as the Holy Spirit with Jesus as Head.

The Do of the Woman is very, very important for all Human Beings!
