November 29, 2022 the U. S. Senate passed the Respect for Marriage Act which many claim was but another step toward complete freedom in any and all expressions of love and union.
Some statements made that day:
Quotes from “A Massive Victory for the Moral Revolutionaries”, World News Group, 11/29/22
- Al Mohler: “Anyone who thinks the LGBTQ movement will be satisfied with forcing states to recognize same-sex marriages is delusional.”
- “It would be great if the bill went further,” said Hawaii’s Sen. Brian Schatz, “but we don’t have the votes to go further.”
- Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren: “I want to see the day when we have 100 votes in favor of no discrimination, not just for who we love, but also in any activity.”
- President Joe Biden celebrated the bill’s passage by declaring that “love is love, and Americans should have the right to marry the person they love.”
So, what lies ahead for these and others who want NO restrictions on “love”?
- “Free love” – the open acceptance of any heterosexual relationship with rights and easy exit
- Polygamy (Polyamorous) – any combination of peoples other than one woman and one man in a sexual, committed relationship
- Pedophilla – an adult with the pre-puberty child in a sexual, committed relationship
- Bestiality – an adult and an animal in a sexual relationship
- Incest – an adult having sex with one of their own children

Ken Ham after the SCOTUS Obergefell decision in 2015 – For years I’ve been saying that once you open the door to redefine marriage, where do you stop? Well, that’s already starting to happen since the Supreme Court of the United States decision to legalize gay “marriage” in June. After all, if “love wins,” as gay “marriage” activists say, then by this line of thinking why shouldn’t “love win” in cases of polygamy, bestiality, and pedophilia? As soon as you get rid of an absolute standard -God’s Word-anything and everything goes with regard to marriage. It’s just like Scripture says, “everyone did what was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25).
And these notes from God on that day:
- Romans 1:26-27, For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
- Hebrews 13:4, Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
- John 2:1- Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding… And when they ran out of wine…Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots”…You have kept the good wine until now!”
Jesus attended and blessed a wedding and thus sanctified the event. So should we!
