It is 103 degrees out as I write this.  Isn’t air conditioning wonderful?  Which, on a day such as this, takes huge amounts of energy which is generated almost exclusively in fossil fuel fired power plants.  I don’t see anytime soon where wind or sun will be able to do likewise.

AFA Journal, August 2022 – I believe our God is sovereign over nations and kingdoms. The Bible clearly teaches that. No one but God Almighty knows what will become of America over the next 25 years.  And yet, Scripture shows us that because God weaves His purposes into the actions of men and women, our lives matter. Yes, it’s a glorious mystery and a divine tension that we live in… The evidence is everywhere.  America is growing more and more untethered from reality and more and more rebellious against God.

They talk of “reproductive health care.”  That seems pretty straight forward.  What is in the womb is a reproduction of a human.

The womb:  Proverbs 31:8, Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die.

Facts don’t care about your feelings!

God has foretold before and all has happened precisely so and God has foretold ahead for us and all will happen exactly so!  Isaiah 42:8-9, I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

God alone rules all!  Isaiah 45:21-22, “Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time?  Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the Lord?  And there is no other God besides Me, a just God and a Savior; there is none besides Me.”

The bottom line?  Men, all men, are lost and dying and all men need to be saved!  That salvation is found in only one place – in God!  Isaiah 45:22, “Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”

The Uvalde school shooter was once deemed by a school teacher as a “wonderful student” with a “positive attitude.”  What happened?  [World News Group, The Sift for 07-20-22]

Batteries store power – they do NOT make power!  Rather, batteries require power in order to make them work.  Batteries are but power storage units.

America has been great by God’s grace – not earned and not deserved! Thank you, Lord, for your abundant grace and mercy!
