Vaccination Notes – Noteables:

  1. The Nuremburg Code, developed after WW II upon the realization of what was done to Jews in extermination camps, which the United States signed, “enunciates the requirement of voluntary informed consent of the human subject”.  That is, people will not be forced into medical trials/experiments.
  2. Vaccines for viruses cause variants (not true of vaccines for a disease like polio).  Just consider Israel.  Possibly the most highly COVID vaccinated country in the world and beset by variant COVID cases.
  3. There is a middle-aged man in the Gretna area who has been very healthy his entire life and works for a large national corporation that required he be vaccinated to stay employed.  He complied getting two doses.  He has now been very ill for weeks with diarrhea along with peeling skin and great weariness.
  4. COVID 19 is tough – even deadly.  My brother-in-law has been very sick for a number of days and Toni’s father died of it.  We must be wise but at the same time, living behind a face covering is not the answer for many reasons unless one is of a Mexican cartel or a bank robber. The face – ALL the face (Psalm 34:13) – matters in the realm of relationships of which God declared that we are needy (Genesis 2:18).  People need people and people need touched!
  5. There are a number among us who have been vaccinated with few and brief side effects. There are some among us who have applied for exemptions and been granted such.  There are some among who are seeking exemption and finding opposition and delays.  Pray for all that we be wise, blessed, and long-suffering.
  6. I have two reports from moms whose doctors went off on them for not planning to vaccinate their little children; accusing them of “killing their children” and being the cause of others contracting COVID.  Both reported it a harrowing experience.
  7. A clip on national news a couple of days ago suggested the idea of using the National Guard to staff hospitals due to the nurse shortage.

This week in Washington is looking to be extremely monumental, for what some are pushing and predicting will have ramifications for many years – even generations.

What’s up?

  1. A vote for a continuing resolution to fund the government for a few more months.
  2. A vote to raise the debt limit so to continue the rampant spending.
  3. A vote for a 1.5 trillion dollar “infrastructure” spending bill.
  4. A vote for a 3.5 trillion stimulus spending bill.  This should be of little concern because it is repeatedly declared that it is all paid for.  What a marvelous thing is this printing of money, discovery of accounting tricks, and “raping” the rich guys who are such a scourge on society.

Some of the talk is that if the debt limit is not raised, Social Security, Medicare and other entitlement programs will be stopped.  Such could be true, but not necessarily.  The government will still bring in a few trillion via taxes and other so some programs could continue.  If the debt limit is not raised, there would have to be a scaling back or closing of some federal agencies and projects.  Maybe the EPA or Education Dept. or OSHA would have to be reduced.  Maybe aid to other countries and monies for studying bugs in Ecuador would have to end.  Unemployment and pandemic help would need to end thus forcing people to go to work AND pay taxes!  There might even need to be a paring back of travel, partying, and perks for elected officials!  Oh, No!

My prayer:  “One nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all!”
