Rainbow Colors

This is a follow up to the Rainbow Musing of a couple of days ago…

The colors of the Rainbow are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet commonly known by the acronym ROY G BIV.

[“What?! Another acronym?”  Yes, sorry, Charlie. The world is full of them!]

Let the colors help us grasp truths with this chant:

ROY G BIV – ROY G BIV – Reminds us of God’s way to live

   R is for Red – for sin, His blood was shed

   O is for Or-ange – sin makes us all str-ange

   Y is for Yellow – our ways are all hollow

   G is for Green – love for God must be seen

   B is for Blue – Jesus is God, Savior, and true

   I is for Indigo – repenting is the way to go

   V is for Violet – only in Jesus is God’s will met

So, ROY G BIV – ROY G BIV – Reminds us of God’s way to live!
