Christ – not Causes

Too many Christians and churches have replaced Christ with causes.

Causes such as…

1. Social Justice
2. Inclusion/Diversity
3. Intersectionality
4. Cancel Culture
5. Critical Race Theory (CRT)
6. Reparations
7. Wokeness
8. Censorship
9. BLM
10. MeToo
11. Identity Politics
12. QAnon
13. Fake News
14. Climate Change / Carbons
15. 1% / THE Poor
16. Water / Oceans
17. Cattle (methane gas)
18. Animal rights (whales)
19. Guns (love/hate)
20. Policing

Philippians 3:6-11, Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

2. Give up all except knowing Jesus intimately
3. Faith in Christ and God for daily living

May we be about the gospel of God over all other causes or issues!

May we not be angry nor joining a combative camp.

May we not be swooned by numbers, the news or social media.

May we be fully embracing Jesus for only in Him is found life, joy, hope, and direction.
