Nebraska

Coming home from North Platte this morning I saw a billboard that read:

“Nothing says Nebraska like – the Nebraska State Fair” (or something close to that).

I thought:  Really?  Seriously?  What?

Maybe true for 3 or 4 or 11, but for most and for me?  Not even close!

So, what might first come to mind when one hears the word “Nebraska”?

the Sandhills

OK – they do have a point – down the list some distance!!!

If you were thinking of something that marks Iowa, their State Fair would certainly be higher.
