2019 Creation Days verses used by Dr. Sharp – a partial list

Our national problem:  Romans 1:25, Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever.

Rejection of Biblical truth about the Flood:  II Peter 3:3-6, Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 

God keeps His Word and will judge:  II Peter 3:7-9, But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.  But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Nature screams there is a Creator:  Job 12:7-8, But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; and the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; and the fish of the sea will explain to you.

If man won’t grasp nature’s truth they won’t grasp more truth: John 3:12, If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

Moses wrote about Creation and the Flood which point to God and truth:  John 5:45-47, “Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust.  For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.  But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

We have obligation to teach children the truth:  Genesis 18:19, For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.

God desires God-fearing children which happens through marriages and the family:  Malachi 2:15-16, But did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one?  He seeks godly offspring.  Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.“For the Lord God of Israel says that He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts.“Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

Knowing what Moses wrote about Creation and the Flood prepares one for God’s coming judgment:  Malachi 4:5-6, “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”

So what is loved?  What is embraced?  Proverbs 23:7, For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
